The Canadian Real Estate Referral Network was built from real experience, real relationships, and a commitment to earning an honest day’s living. It’s a story rooted in resilience, not a business plan.
Our founder, Aaron Hill, is no stranger to hard work. Before launching the network, Aaron owned and operated a demolition business, serving communities across Ontario. Born legally blind with a rare progressive eye condition, he never allowed the challenges he faced to define his abilities — even hiring drivers so he could personally show up on-site every day.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Aaron paused his demolition operations to homeschool his children. During that time his vision continued to change, making a return to demolition unsafe. Instead of stepping back, he stepped forward — teaching himself web design and digital development from scratch, learning through trial and error along the way. It wasn’t the path he expected, but it was the one in front of him.
Drawing from years of close connections within the real estate industry, Aaron identified a gap: agents across Canada needed an easier way to connect, collaborate, and refer business between cities, provinces, and specialties. What started as a simple idea grew into something much larger.
So, the foundation for The Canadian
Real Estate Referral Network was laid.

By bringing together real estate agents and related service providers in one place, CRERN helps consumers make informed decisions while providing industry professionals with increased visibility across Canada.
Joining the Canadian Real Estate Referral Network (CRERN) gives you access to a growing nationwide network of real estate professionals, making it easier to identify potential referral partners across Canada. In addition to expanding your professional network, your membership includes a public profile that can be found by buyers, sellers, renters, and individuals relocating who are searching for real estate professionals and related industry services. CRERN provides the platform to help you build connections and increase your visibility—the referral relationships themselves remain entirely between participating professionals.
Every Canadian Real Estate Referral Network profile card listing includes the essential information needed to help other real estate professionals and consumers quickly identify and connect with you.
A standard profile listing includes:
- Professional photo
- Agent name
- Professional designation
- Brokerage
- City and province
- Contact Agent button
For members who want to showcase more about their business, the Canadian Real Estate Referral Network also offers an upgraded Full Page Profile. A Full Page Profile provides additional space to highlight your experience, areas of expertise, communities served, professional biography, contact information, website, social media links, and other details that help you stand out.
Whether you choose a standard profile listing or a Full Page Profile, every listing is designed to help increase your professional visibility and make it easier for referral partners, buyers, sellers, renters, and individuals relocating to connect with you.
Membership in the Canadian Real Estate Referral Network is $60 CAD per year and includes a standard profile listing.
Your profile listing offers a variety of benefits, including increased online visibility, search engine optimization (SEO) opportunities, and exposure to both real estate professionals looking to expand their referral network and consumers searching for real estate services.
Members who want to showcase additional information about their business also have the option to upgrade to a Full Profile, providing an even more comprehensive online presence.
Yes. The Canadian Real Estate Referral Network provides a white-glove service, so you don’t need to update your profile yourself.
If your contact information, brokerage, designation, or other profile details change, simply submit your update request and we’ll make the changes for you.
As part of your annual membership, profile updates are provided free of charge up to two times per year. Additional updates may be available for an additional fee.
Joining the Canadian Real Estate Referral Network is simple and designed to save you time.
- Contact us and let us know you’re interested in joining the network.
- Using publicly available information, we’ll prepare your professional profile listing for you as part of our white-glove service.
- We’ll send you your completed profile along with an Agent Information Package to review. Simply confirm that everything is accurate or let us know if you’d like any changes made. These initial revisions are included as part of the profile creation process and do not count toward your two complimentary annual profile updates.
- Once you’re satisfied with your profile, you can submit your membership payment. By making your payment, you confirm that you’ve reviewed and approved your profile listing for publication on the Canadian Real Estate Referral Network.
- After your payment has been received, we’ll email you a receipt. If your profile is not already live, it will be published on the network.
Our white-glove approach means you spend less time completing forms and more time focusing on your clients while we take care of building your professional profile.
No. The Canadian Real Estate Referral Network is an independent organization and is not owned, operated, or affiliated with any real estate board, brokerage, franchise, or professional association.
